We are very pleased to announce that, as of October 21, 2023, our senior associate, Dr. Phil Saragoza, is the new owner and president of Work Trauma Services. Dr. Steve White, founder of WTS in 1982, and Dr. Jolee Brunton, long-time vice president, will remain core members of WTS, assisting Phil as he leads the company forward with his vision for a top notch and growing threat assessment consulting group.
Phil has been a member of WTS since 2015, contributing to our range of services, and bringing his own style of working with clients. Many of you have had the opportunity to work with him, validating for us the breadth of his knowledge and his professionalism. We could not be happier with Phil as the new leader of WTS. As many of you know, we have been working on this transition for some time. There are many details to selling or buying a company, while also keeping the business going. But from the get-go, we were enthusiastic and never doubted we would get here.
As he has increasingly been doing so, Steve will focus mainly on WAVR-21 training, the demand for which continues to grow, as well as select program development projects. As a member of “eWAVR Partners” with Reid Meloy and Sandy Ryan, Steve will be supporting our software versions of the WAVR. He will pursue these interests while still intending a lighter workload, as WTS remains in very good hands.
In any transfer of ownership, there are some important changes that affect clients.
